Brock Oakley Ailes (b.1985 Lancaster,OH) is a multi-disciplinary artist currently living in Charlotte, NC. He received his MFA in Photography from Cranbrook Academy of Art and his BFA from Columbus College of Art & Design. Ailes uses sculpture, sound, and image to create space for critical discussion about the future of work and class in America. His work resits the imposed hierarchy of capitalism by using a lens of tenderness and empathy while questioning the working class culture he was raised in. Ailes' work has been shown in Detroit, Seattle, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and throughout his home state of Ohio. He plans to be buried in Forest Rose Cemetery in Lancaster, Ohio.

Ailes’ work is currently on view at SHAG through January 2022 in his solo exhibition, Dogs of Eden.
